Former Edo PDP Chairman Daniel Orbih Dies at 74

Chief Daniel Osi Orbih, the former Edo State Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), died at the age of 74 on September 1, after attending his daughter's graduation ceremony in London, England. His family announced his passing through a statement signed by Francis Udukhomoi Orbih, Esq., expressing profound sadness and submission to God's will.

Orbih was a prominent figure in the PDP, significantly influencing the political landscape of Edo State through his roles in organization, political mobilization, and electoral activities. He was known for his political relationships with key figures, including Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

His death occurs during a crucial political period as parties prepare for the 2027 general elections. Orbih is survived by his wife, Mrs. Florence Orbih; his children, Ms. Winifred Anwosiobor Orbih and Dr. Mildred Omonemi Orbih; and other family members.
