BREAKING: Pre-Thumbprinted ADC Ballot Papers Intercepted in Anambra

Pre-thumbprinted African Democratic Congress (ADC) ballot papers were intercepted at Aguata High School in Ekwulobia, Anambra State. The ballot papers were allegedly prepared to be smuggled into a polling station for the ongoing Anambra South Senatorial election.

The interception took place on Saturday, with Donald Amamgbo, the ADC candidate, expressing concern over the incident. The ADC party recently adopted former Anambra State governor and 2023 Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, as well as other opposition figures ahead of the 2027 general election.

This incident comes amidst elections taking place across different states in Nigeria, including Kaduna, Kano, Ogun, and Oyo. Authorities are investigating the matter to ensure the integrity of the electoral process.
