Baba-Ahmed Calls Buhari's Administration Most Corrupt

Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed, who served as the former vice-presidential candidate for the Labour Party, publicly criticized the administration of former President Muhammadu Buhari, labeling it as the most corrupt government Nigeria has ever experienced. During an appearance on MIC On Podcast with Seun Okinbaloye, Baba-Ahmed stated that corruption was primarily responsible for Buhari's spectacular failure in governance.

He expressed his condolences, saying, “May his soul rest in peace,” while emphasizing that no government has been as corrupt or immoral as Buhari's. Baba-Ahmed also connected his criticisms to the 2023 presidential election, accusing Buhari's administration of failing to fulfill its promise of conducting credible elections.

He pointed out that despite Buhari's assurances for a free and fair election, the actual events surrounding the transmission and collation of results did not align with those expectations.
