Burna Boy to Headline London Stadium for Third Time in 2027

Burna Boy, the multi-award-winning Nigerian artist, is set to headline the 80,000 capacity London Stadium for a record third time in 2027. He first made history in June 2023 by becoming the first African artist to headline and sell out the stadium, returning for another sold-out concert in June 2024.

This upcoming performance will further extend his record as the only African artist to achieve this feat at the venue, which has been home to the English football team West Ham since 2016. On August 3, 2026, Burna Boy announced this milestone on his X account, shortly after unveiling a diamond-laced neckpiece to commemorate his sold-out concerts in 2023 and 2024.

The pendant features 600 carats of natural VVS diamonds and 1 kilogram of gold. He also indicated that more announcements, possibly regarding a new album, would be made in the coming weeks.

In 2026, Burna Boy's song, the official anthem of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, has garnered over 500 million views on YouTube and 280 million streams on Spotify.
