Cameroon Shocks Nigeria to Reach WAFCON Semi-Finals

In a stunning upset, Cameroon defeated Nigeria's Super Falcons 1-0 in the WAFCON quarter-finals on Sunday. The standout player was 21-year-old goalkeeper Michaely Bihina, who made nine critical saves to deny Nigeria, the defending champions.

Miriayam Nyadjou scored the decisive goal with a direct free-kick in the 20th minute. Despite Nigeria's intense pressure from top players like Rasheedat Ajibade and Uchenna Kanu, Bihina's remarkable double save just before half-time was pivotal.

She continued her impressive performance in the second half, stopping another shot from Esther Okoronkwo. Bihina celebrated her team's victory and was awarded player-of-the-match.
