Air Marshal Anek Affirms NAF Readiness in Bauchi Visit

On Thursday, Air Marshal Sundai Kelvin Anek, the Chief of Air Staff, visited various formations in Bauchi, where he asserted that the operational readiness of the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) is non-negotiable. During his visit, he emphasized the necessity for the NAF to maintain the highest level of preparedness and urged the formations to avoid complacency.

Anek stated that the leadership of the Air Force is committed to equipping personnel with the necessary training and support infrastructure to ensure mission success. He also mentioned the ongoing investment in modern platforms and intelligence capabilities, as well as the importance of international partnerships to fast-track the integration of advanced systems.

Anek praised the professionalism demonstrated by the Special Operations Command, particularly in facilitating the arrival of integrated U.S. troops to assist in counter-terrorism efforts in Bauchi. He called for personnel to remain agile and prepared to operate sophisticated assets in a dynamic security environment.
