NAF Intensifies Operations Against Terrorism and Kidnapping

Air Marshal Sadiq Kelvin Anek, the Chief of Air Staff of the Nigerian Air Force (NAF), has tasked the NAF to intensify offensive operations against terrorist and kidnapping threats across the country. During a command exercise at the Regiment Training Centre Annex in Bauchi, he directed personnel to undergo final physical fitness tests as part of their training.

Anek reaffirmed the NAF's commitment to enhancing operational effectiveness through rigorous and realistic special forces training. He noted that the changing security environment necessitates personnel to be physically fit and mentally resilient to handle complex operational tasks.

The NAF aims to train, equip, and deploy personnel capable of confronting criminal elements that threaten innocent citizens and undermine national peace. Anek's statements were supported by Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodam, who highlighted the importance of personnel demonstrating exceptional physical fitness to progress in their training courses.
