Dapper Responds to Seyi Vibez and Shallipopi's Accusations

Damilola Akinwunmi, popularly known as Dapper, the founder of Dapper Group, addressed allegations from former signees Seyi Vibez and Shallipopi concerning the management of their music catalogues. In posts on his X handle, Dapper urged the artistes to present their contracts and financial records for forensic examination by reputable audit firms such as KPMG, PwC, and Deloitte.

He asserted that an independent review would reveal the truth about financial obligations. Dapper claimed that an audit had already been conducted, suggesting that both artistes had received "healthy advances" and improved percentages under their agreements.

He criticized them for not embracing an audit while spending on luxury items. The dispute arose after both artistes departed from Dapper Music due to disagreements over their business relationships.

Seyi Vibez indicated his exit in September 2024 by unfollowing Dapper Music on Instagram and rebranding himself as an "Independent artist.".
