Caverton Helicopters Hosts Army War College Delegation

Caverton Helicopters hosted a delegation from the Army War College Nigeria on Tuesday, reaffirming its commitment to operational excellence and capacity building across key sectors of the country's economy. The delegation, which included senior military officials from South Africa and Cameroon, visited the company's aviation facility near Murtala Muhammed International Airport.

Rotimi Makanjuola, Caverton's Chief Operating Officer, highlighted the company's support for critical sectors such as aviation, oil and gas, agriculture, sports, and logistics. He emphasized the importance of local aviation training facilities, which help save time and money by training pilots locally instead of sending them abroad.

The visit included a tour of Caverton's aviation training center and maintenance, repair, and overhaul facilities. Makanjuola noted Caverton's operational footprint across Africa, including support for aviation operations in Côte d'Ivoire, Mozambique, and Benin, and its collaboration with various security agencies, including the Nigerian Navy and Air Force.

Brigadier General Olakunle Olayinka represented the Army War College during the visit.
