Caverton Showcases Aviation Excellence to Army War College

Caverton Offshore Support Group highlighted its operational excellence during a visit from senior military officials participating in the Army War College Nigeria Course 10 on October 26, 2023. The company, represented by Chief Operating Officer Rotimi Makanjuola, expressed its commitment to partnering with the Nigerian Army and other military and civil organizations to enhance aviation technology and logistics.

The visit included a tour of Caverton's aviation training center and flight simulation facilities located near Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos. The company aims to build local capacity in aviation, addressing challenges such as foreign exchange losses and the need for pilot training.

Brigadier General Olakunl Olayinka noted the importance of the tour in exposing military officials to private sector innovations that contribute to national development. Brigadier General Bala Fakandu emphasized the relevance of local aviation capabilities in the context of national security and technological advancements.
