CDCFIB to Reopen Recruitment Portal for Drug Testing

The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) announced the reopening of its recruitment portal from October 28 to November 13, 2026. This reopening is for candidates who have completed the medical screening, oral interviews, and other assessments in the ongoing recruitment process.
Maj. Gen. A.M. Jibril (rtd), Secretary to the Board, clarified that this is not an invitation for new applications but a chance for eligible applicants to check their recruitment status and obtain codes for mandatory drug screening.
Candidates must visit the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NAFDAC) offices in their states for the drug tests, which will be funded by the Federal Government. Successful candidates will proceed to Abuja to collect their appointment letters, with proof of being free from illegal drug use required for finalization.
The ongoing recruitment aims to fill 30,000 positions across four federal paramilitary agencies: NSCDC, NIS, NCS, and FFS.
