Chelsea's Xabi Alonso Praises Enzo Fernandez's Attitude

Enzo Fernandez has shown a “really good attitude” since returning to Chelsea FC, as stated by head coach Xabi Alonso. Chelsea agreed with Fernandez’s agent, Javier Pastore, in late May that the midfielder would be available for transfer but set a deadline of 14 August for any bids.

With that deadline passing without a formal offer, Chelsea has informed Fernandez’s camp that he is not for sale in this transfer window. Despite interest from clubs managed by Fernandez’s former boss, Enzo Maresca, Chelsea remains firm on their stance.

Alonso indicated that Fernandez is focused and preparing for their Premier League opener on Monday. He noted that Fernandez has integrated well since returning from the World Cup and is training effectively.

The transfer window closes on 1 September, and while there are reports suggesting Chelsea may be open to selling Fernandez, Alonso emphasized the player's positive attitude and readiness for the upcoming match.
