Chelsea Signs Nigerian Defender Justin Osagie After Successful Trial

Chelsea has officially signed Nigerian central defender Justin Osagie from Peterborough United for an undisclosed fee after a successful trial at Stamford Bridge. The 20-year-old caught the eye of Chelsea's academy coaches and earned a permanent deal.

Osagie had previously been on trial at clubs like Southend United, West Ham United, and Celtic. He showcased his talent during a substitute appearance in an EFL Trophy fixture against Northampton Town.

Several top clubs had shown interest in Osagie, who is eligible to represent Nigeria or the Republic of Ireland.
