China Settles $641M UN Dues; US Plans $725M Payment

The United Nations confirmed that China has fully settled its annual dues, amounting to $641,361,387, marking it as one of the largest contributors to the UN's Regular Budget. This payment was acknowledged in a document and was noted during a press briefing on September 2, 2026, by Stéphane Dujarric, Spokesman for the Secretary-General, who expressed gratitude to Beijing.
