Chinese Firm in Talks with Abia State Government for Infrastructure Development Projects

China Harbour Engineering Company Limited is in talks with the Abia State government to collaborate on various infrastructure development projects in the state. The company's Managing Director, Jason Wang, praised the state's progress in sectors like road infrastructure.

Abia State Governor, Alex Otti, expressed enthusiasm for partnering with the firm on rail transport, seaport development, erosion control, and dredging projects. The state is keen on working with the firm on the Azumiri Seaport project and the Abia-Maiduguri railway project.

This partnership holds significant economic potential for the state and the South-East region.
