Community Elders Demand Justice for Murdered Student

Community elders from Alor in Idemili South Local Government Area, Anambra State, visited the Anambra State Police Command to demand justice for the murder of a 23-year-old female student. The delegation, led by Mr.

Emmanuel Ojukwu, President General of the community, commended the police for their swift response and professionalism in handling the case. They expressed confidence in the ongoing investigation and pledged continued cooperation and support from the Alor community to ensure justice is served.

During the visit, the elders engaged with the police to provide information that could assist in the investigation and reaffirmed their readiness to collaborate closely with law enforcement. CP Ikoyorutugu reassured the stakeholders of the command's determination to unravel the circumstances surrounding the murder and urged the public to remain calm, avoid speculation, and provide credible information to aid the investigation.

He emphasized the command's commitment to protecting lives and property and assured the family of the deceased and the general public that no stone would be left unturned in ensuring justice.
