NYSC Director General Urges Corps Members to Uphold Laws

Brig.- Gen Olakunle Nafiu, the Director General of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), addressed the 2026 Batch ‘B’ Stream 2 corps members at the NYSC permanent orientation camp in Karaye, Kano, and FCT. He warned corps members to conduct themselves in accordance with the NYSC by-laws and the nation's constitution, stating that any actions that could tarnish the image of the NYSC or the country would be met with consequences as per the bye-laws.

Nafiu urged the corps members to act as brand ambassadors for the NYSC, their families, and their educational institutions. He advised them to utilize their education to think creatively and logically, contributing positively to national development.

Additionally, he encouraged them to spend their time wisely, acquire essential skills related to their studies, and promote positive content that reflects the culture and values of their host communities and the NYSC.
