Wike Addresses ADC's Request for Eagle Square Access

Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, responded to the African Democratic Congress's (ADC) request for access to Eagle Square and Velodrome, asserting that the allegations of denied access were unfounded. He clarified that the ADC did not submit a formal request and emphasized the need for due process, including a formal application to the Abuja Investment Company.

Wike also addressed public concerns regarding structural damage at Kugbo Bus Terminal, attributing it to a recent windstorm that affected the roof but confirmed that the structure itself remained intact and repairs were underway. He expressed satisfaction with the progress of various infrastructure projects across the Federal Capital Territory, including ongoing road work expected to be completed by May 15 and the installation of streetlights by May 31.

Additionally, Wike mentioned the development of a new site for artisans, highlighting the government's commitment to ensuring timely project completion and payments to contractors.
