Plateau State Council Boss Warns Against Resurgence of Fake Drugs

Chairman Pirfa Tyem of Langtang North local government council in Plateau State raised concerns about the resurgence of fake drugs in the area. Tyem disclosed this during an investiture ceremony where he emphasized the dangers of fake and substandard drugs, noting that some residents had fallen victim to them.

The council had confiscated a cache of counterfeit medicines a month earlier. Tyem vowed to crack down on those selling fake drugs and prioritize healthcare in the region.

He stressed the importance of health education and warned against taking health for granted.
