Court Blocks Sale of Disputed N21.5bn Lekki Land by IGI and Four H Nigeria

The High Court in Lagos State has granted a preemptive restraining order against Industri Gener Insur Plc (IGI) and Four H Nigeria Limited over a disputed 13.067-hectare land in Lekki Peninsula. Bravematt Property Investment Limited, the buyer, alleges paying N21.5 billion for the land and fears the sellers may attempt to invalidate the deal.

The court order, issued by Justice Dr. R.

O. Olukolu, aims to prevent any sale or transfer of the property.

The case involves allegations of non-receipt of final payments and concerns over a potential resale of the land without the buyer's consent.
