Crackdown on cattle rustling unearths secret slaughterhouse in Yola

A crackdown on cattle rustling in Adamawa State led to the discovery of a secret slaughterhouse in Yola. The special security outfit, Operation Farauta, uncovered the hidden facility where stolen cattle were slaughtered and sold to the public.

The outfit raided the premise after tracing a stolen cow back to the slaughterhouse in Bachure area of Yola North Local Government Area. The cow owner, Mallam Gagare, confirmed the discovery and praised the security agents for their efforts in fighting crime in the state.

The Adamawa State Police Command has not yet commented on the matter. The operation highlights the ongoing efforts to combat cattle rustling and illegal activities in the region.
