Tensions Rise in Zamfara ADC Over Membership Forgery Claims

Tensions are escalating within the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Zamfara State, particularly among members from the Anka/Talata Mafara local government area. Nura Rabiu Cibiki, the Director of Media Strategy and Campaign Mobilization for the party, issued a statement raising alarms over alleged attempts to manipulate membership registration figures.

Cibiki strongly warned that any efforts to duplicate or tamper with existing membership records would deepen internal disagreements and undermine the party's unity. He emphasized that members are fully aware of the legitimate membership strength and will resist any moves aimed at altering the integrity of the party's registration process.

Cibiki called for transparency and fairness in party affairs, asserting that the ADC members from Anka/Talata Mafara are committed to building the party's structure and protecting its democratic principles. The group further cautioned that attempts to manipulate party figures and create false records could trigger unnecessary tensions within the constituency.
