ADC Raises Alarm Over Membership Forgery in Zamfara

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has expressed alarm regarding alleged attempts to manipulate its membership records in Zamfara State, particularly in the Anka Talata Mafara Local Government Area. Nura Rabiu Cibiki, the Director of Media Strategy for the ADC Campaign Mobilization Committee, issued a statement warning against efforts to alter or duplicate legitimate membership figures, which could exacerbate existing tensions within the party.

The ADC strongly opposes any manipulation of its membership records, emphasizing the importance of maintaining the party's authentic membership strength. In a related legal action, Abdulrahaman Yahaya, an aspirant for the House of Representatives seat representing Anka Talata Mafara Federal Constituency, has filed a suit at the Federal High Court in Gusau challenging alleged irregularities in the party's primary election process.

The court has scheduled a mention of the case for June 23, 2026.
