Cry from morning till night, you won’t influence me – Wike warns

Governor Nyesom Wike issued a stern warning to the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), stating that no amount of crying or influence would sway him from carrying out his duties. The warning came during the commissioning of a rehabilitated water treatment plant in the Ushafa area of the FCT.

Wike recounted an incident where the FCT Minister had tried to influence him since assuming office, but he remained resolute in his commitment to serving the people. He advised the Minister to focus on praying for his ministry instead of attempting to interfere in his work.

Wike emphasized that he would not be swayed by selfish interests and would continue to work tirelessly for the progress of the government. The governor's message was clear: he will not be influenced, no matter how much his detractors cry or try to interfere.
