Nigerian Customs to Deploy Modern Scanner at Apapa Port for Enhanced Cargo Examination

The Nigerian Customs Service is set to introduce a modern scanner at Apapa Port to streamline cargo examination processes and boost trade efficiency. Deputy Comptroller General Oluyomi Adebakin inspected the scan site and expressed satisfaction with the progress.

The new scanner is expected to enable faster and more accurate cargo inspections, reducing the reliance on physical checks and lowering the risk of smuggling.
