Daily Trust Foundation and BUK Partner for Digital Journalism Training

The Daily Trust Foundation (DTF) and Bayero University Kano (BUK) have partnered to offer digital journalism training through the DTF Digital Academy. A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Malam Bilya Bala of DTF and Professor Haruna Musa of BUK to enhance journalism education in Nigeria.

The collaboration aims to convert learning materials into digital formats to provide accessible and cost-effective training opportunities for journalists across the country. The MoU also involves BUK faculty members validating the instructional materials to ensure they meet contemporary standards in journalism training.

This initiative signifies a significant step towards capacity building and professional development in the Nigerian media industry.
