Dangote Cement to Host Investors Ahead of LSE Listing

Dangote Cement Plc is set to host a Capital Markets Day (CMD) in London on September 21, 2026, as part of its preparations for a proposed secondary listing on the London Stock Exchange (LSE). This event, announced in a statement by the company’s Secretary, Edward Imoedemhe, on September 2, 2026, will provide investors and stakeholders with updates on the cement maker’s strategy, operations, and business priorities, while allowing engagement with senior management.

The CMD follows a shareholder approval on May 12, 2026, for the secondary listing. The company aims to offer deeper insights into its business and strategic direction, with further details about the event to be communicated later.

The planned LSE listing is part of Dangote Group's strategy to access international capital markets, aligning with its broader expansion plans. Dangote Cement reported a pre-tax profit of N981.39 billion for the six months ending June 30, 2026, a 34.43% increase from the previous year.
