David Justice Opens Up About His Divorce from Halle Berry

Former MLB player David Justice recently opened up about his divorce from actress Halle Berry on the Smoke podcast with Matt Barnes. Justice attributed differing views on household roles and parenting as major factors in the breakdown of their marriage.

He expressed his perspective as a Midwest guy who believed in traditional gender roles, while Berry had different expectations. Justice admitted to lacking relationship experience when marrying Berry and reflected on how seeking therapy might have saved their marriage.

He pushed back against public perception that blamed Berry for the split, stating that she was "dead wrong" to portray the problems as one-sided. Justice and Berry tied the knot in 1993 and finalized their divorce in 1997.

Justice has since been married to Rebecca Justice for 24 years, while Berry is currently in a relationship with musician Van Hunt.
