Davidhall College, Ado Grammar School Win MILO Titles

Davidhall International College from Lagos State and Ado Grammar School from Ekiti State emerged as champions in the boys' and girls' categories of the MILO Western Conference during the 26th MILO Basketball Championship. Ado Grammar School achieved a hard-fought victory over Lanrelek Academy from Osun State with a score of 53-49, marking their first qualification for the national finals.

In the boys' category, Davidhall International College defeated God's Bless Comprehensive College from Oyo State with a close score of 82-81. Miracl Akinola from Ado Grammar School was named the Most Valuable Player for the girls' category, contributing 22 points, while Emmanuel Saleh from Davidhall International College received the same honor in the boys' category with 19 points.

The event was attended by dignitaries, including representatives from the Oyo State Ministry of Education and the Nigeria School Sports Federation. The national finals are scheduled to take place on July 2, 2026, at the National Stadium in Surulere, Lagos.
