26th Milo National School Basketball Championship Begins

The 26th Milo National School Basketball Championship is set to commence on June 27 at the National Stadium in Surulere, Lagos, featuring twelve secondary schools from various states across Nigeria. Participating schools include Father O'Connell Science College, Niger King Amachree Academy, and David Hall International College, among others.

The competition will be divided into two categories: boys and girls. Boladale Odunlami, Managing Director of Nestlé Nigeria, spoke about the championship's impact since its inception, emphasizing its role in providing a platform for young Nigerians to discover their talents and build confidence.

He noted that the championship has grown in respect within Nigeria's school sports landscape, uniting athletes, coaches, teachers, and families nationwide. Gilbert Tweneboah Koduah, Category Manager for Beverages at Nestlé Nigeria, reaffirmed the company's commitment to supporting youth development through sports.
