Deaf Super Eagles Clinch 7th Title at West African Soccer Tournament

The Deaf Super Eagles secured their 7th title at a West African soccer tournament, showcasing the resilience and talent of Nigeria's deaf athletes. The victory was celebrated nationwide, with the National Commission for Persons with Disabilities praising the team's achievement as a moment of national pride.

The Executive Secretary of the Commission, Hon Ayuba Gufwan, highlighted the need for greater support for deaf athletes to receive recognition and opportunities. The tournament, organized by the Nigeria Deaf Football Association in collaboration with the West African Deaf Sports Federation, featured teams from Nigeria, Gambia, Niger Republic, Liberia, and other West African nations.
