Decomposing Body of Hairstylist Found in Osogbo Apartment

The Osun State Police Command has begun an investigation following the discovery of a decomposing body identified as Kemisola in her apartment located in the Jaleyemi area of Osogbo on Thursday. A co-tenant, who preferred to remain anonymous for security reasons, found the body after noticing a foul odor emanating from the apartment.

Kemisola had not been seen since Monday, prompting concern among neighbors. Attempts to check on her went unanswered until the shocking discovery was made.

Neighbors described Kemisola as a hairstylist who had moved into the apartment due to challenges with irregular power supply. A man claiming to be her elder brother stated that he last saw her on Monday when she returned from a trip to Igbajo.

The police spokesperson, Abiodun Ojelabi, confirmed that an autopsy will be conducted to ascertain the cause of death, which currently shows no signs of violence.
