The Zamfara State Police Command announced the death of Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Asbagu Aliyu Muhammad, who died on September 6, 2026, at approximately 0130 hours at the Ahmed Sani Yariman Bakura Specialist Hospital in Gusau after a brief illness. The Command's Public Relations Officer, DSP Yazid Abubakar, released a statement expressing that the Zamfara Police has lost a committed and dedicated officer.
