Dettol Hygiene Quest Phase 3 Launched in Nigeria

Dettol Nigeria, in partnership with Wellbeing Foundation Africa, officially launched Phase 3 of the Dettol Hygiene Quest initiative, aiming to reach over 800,000 beneficiaries by 2026. The launch event took place at Eko Aket Junior Secondary School in Lagos, where students participated in handwashing demonstrations and hygiene education sessions.

The program's goal is to equip Nigerian children and families with essential hygiene education to promote healthier living. The initiative aims to reach 6 million schoolchildren by 2030, increasing handwashing rates by 20%, reducing diarrheal cases by 10%, and decreasing school absenteeism linked to hygiene-related illnesses.

Since its inception, the program has impacted 440,000 beneficiaries across 716 schools and 36 healthcare facilities nationwide. Phase 3 is designed to build on the program's proven model, targeting new geographical areas and focusing on reaching 750,000 students and 90,000 pregnant women and new mothers with hygiene education and behavior change programs.
