Uba Sani's Aide Defends Defence Minister Musa's Comments

Victor Mathew Bobai, the Senior Special Adviser to Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani on Public Affairs, defended Minister of Defence Gen. Christopher Gwabin Musa (retd.) regarding his criticisms of former Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai's policies. During a television interview, Musa condemned certain policies from El-Rufai's tenure.

Bobai stated that it was unfair to interpret Musa's comments as a personal or politically motivated attack. He emphasized the importance of addressing the issues raised with factual evidence rather than resorting to personal insults.

Bobai clarified that Musa's remarks were part of a public conversation and not an official military directive. He acknowledged Musa's extensive military career and urged critics to challenge his statements with evidence.

Bobai also encouraged journalists and commentators to review El-Rufai’s public statements alongside Musa’s comments, asserting that the issues discussed have been subjects of public debate in Kaduna.
