Dr. Donald Peterson Boosts Education and Entrepreneurship in Agbor

Dr. Donald Peterson is intensifying development efforts in Agbor, Delta State, with a strong emphasis on education.

During the inaugural convocation ceremony at the University of Delta, he announced a ₦2 million endowment fund through the D. Peterson Foundation, aimed at promoting academic excellence.

This fund includes a ₦1,000,000 award for the overall best graduating student and ₦250,000 for outstanding first-class graduates, selected through a transparent process. Additionally, Dr.

Peterson is sponsoring master's and PhD degrees for top graduates, reinforcing his belief that brilliance should not be constrained by financial limitations. His role extends beyond ceremonial duties as he actively pursues a Delta entrepreneurship strategy that integrates technology and agriculture to create wealth.

He has initiated training programs for youth in Agbor, focusing on tech and agro-entrepreneurship, and has provided vocational training in various trades. These efforts are designed to foster a culture of entrepreneurship and ensure inclusivity across socio-economic backgrounds in the community.
