Keyamo Receives DTN@100 Minister of the Decade Award

Festus Keyamo, Esq. SAN, the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, was honored with the DTN@100 Minister of the Decade award for his significant contributions to public service and governance.

The award confirmation occurred on Wednesday during a courtesy visit from the Chairman of Folio Communications Plc and Publisher of The Daily Times in Abuja. Keyamo expressed gratitude for the honor, dedicating it to Nigerians and public servants striving to restore confidence in government institutions.

He praised Folio Communications for its efforts in documenting Nigeria’s history through the Nigeria Grand Book, calling it a "national treasure" that captures the nation's struggles and resilience. Keyamo stated that the award would motivate him to enhance the aviation sector, focusing on safety, infrastructure upgrades, and investor confidence.

The Chairman of Folio Communications noted Keyamo's selection was based on his visibility, legal expertise, advocacy for the rule of law, and ongoing reforms in aviation.
