APC Candidate Osbourne Umahi Votes in Peaceful Election

Osbourne Umahi, the All Progressives Congress (APC) chairmanship candidate for Ohaozara Local Government Area and son of the Minister of Works, David Umahi, praised the peaceful conduct of the Ebonyi State local government elections after casting his vote at his Onuofukulu polling unit in Umunaga, Uburu. He expressed optimism that the election results would reflect the people's wishes.

Valentine Okike-Uzor, the Commissioner for Special Duties, emphasized that participation in the election is a constitutional right and urged the future chairman to lead all residents, regardless of political affiliation. Francis Ori, the Commissioner for Housing and Urban Development, also commended the election's organization by the Ebonyi State Independent Electoral Commission (EBSIEC) and thanked Governor Francis Nwifuru for the peaceful atmosphere.

Senator Anthony Ani remarked on the election's demonstration of the state's commitment to democracy, while Kama Nkemkanma, the member representing Ohaozara/Onicha/Ivo Federal Constituency, echoed similar sentiments regarding good governance.
