APC Stakeholders Praise Peaceful Ebonyi LG Elections

Leading stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ebonyi State praised the peaceful conduct of the local government elections held on Saturday. Osbourne Umahi, the APC chairmanship candidate for Ohaozara Local Government Area, cast his vote at Onuofukulu Polling Unit in Umunaga, Uburu, and expressed satisfaction with the election's peaceful nature.

He urged for the maintenance of this atmosphere until results are collated. Valentine Okike-Uzor, Commissioner for Special Duties, voted in Onicha LGA and emphasized voting as a constitutional right, expressing confidence in the APC's victory while advocating for inclusive leadership.

Francis Ori, Commissioner for Housing and Urban Development, thanked Governor Francis Nwifuru for ensuring peace during the elections. Senator Anthony Ani noted the elections as a sign of the state's democratic progress, while Hon. Kama Nkemkanma highlighted strong voter turnout as an indication of public interest in local governance.

Reports indicated a peaceful voting process across Ebonyi, with steady turnout at polling units.
