Oluchukwu Critiques Nwifuru's Construction Record in Ebonyi

Paschal Oluchukwu, a public affairs analyst, criticized the administration of Governor Francis Nwifuru, stating that Ebonyi State has become “a huge construction joke.” This assertion was made in a statement on Thursday, following a viral video where Senator Onyekachi Nwebonyi, the Deputy Chief Whip of the Senate, raised alarms about the poor quality of a two-span bridge connecting Odomoke and Ekelibe in Ebonyi Local Government Area. Oluchukwu expressed that he has consistently voiced concerns regarding the substandard construction quality in the state under Nwifuru, who refers to himself as a ‘Builder.’ He pointed out troubling revelations of alleged fiscal recklessness within Nwifuru's administration, emphasizing that, over three years in office, the governor has not accounted for any significant projects despite receiving substantial allocations from the Federation Account Allocation Committee (FAAC).

Oluchukwu stated, “We are worried that, over three years into office, Gov. Nwifuru has failed to fully deliver and commission any single meaningful project in the state.”.
