Ecobank's Austen Osokpor Named Media Manager of the Year

Austen Osokpor, the Head of Market Corporate Communications at Ecobank Nigeria, was awarded the Champion Newspapers’ Media Manager of the Year for 2025. This prestigious award acknowledges his exceptional contributions to the media industry and his commitment to supporting journalism in Nigeria.

The award ceremony took place at Eko Hotel & Suites in Lagos and was presented by Darlington Nwabunik, the Chief Executive Officer of Saint Bunik Group. Osokpor's achievements reflect his outstanding work in media management, particularly in navigating the evolving media landscape and enhancing Ecobank's brand image.

With over 20 years of professional experience, he has held significant roles, including senior editorial positions at DBN and Silverbird Television. He is currently a doctoral candidate at Babcock University, focusing on public relations and advertising.
