Edo Community Apprehends Man Over Alleged Same-Sex Act

Destiny was apprehended at his residence on Faith Lane, off Ekenwan Road, in Edo State after hosting a private gathering. The situation escalated when a guest raised an alarm regarding alleged same-sex conduct involving Osayomore.

Ogiso Uzi, a spokesman for the community, stated that the alarm led to other residents intervening and apprehending Destiny, who was then presented to community leaders. He was subsequently handed over to security operatives for further investigation.

The incident has caused tension in the area, with Destiny expressing concerns for his safety and denying the allegations. An eyewitness claimed that Destiny was physically assaulted and humiliated before being turned over to the authorities.

The allegation of cult membership was reportedly based on the company he kept rather than concrete evidence. ASP Eno Ikoedem, spokesman for the Edo State Police Command, confirmed that the matter is under investigation.
