Edo Deputy Governor Urges Youths to Embrace Positive Values

On Sunday, Deputy Governor of Edo State, Dennis Idahosa, addressed young people at the Youth Harvest and Thanksgiving event held at St. Paul Catholic Church in Benin City.

He urged the youth to shun social vices and adopt responsible elders as role models to contribute meaningfully to society. Idahosa emphasized that the administration of Governor Monday Okpebholo is dedicated to fostering an environment conducive to human and economic development.

He called on youths to channel their energies positively and focus on education, vocational skills, and entrepreneurship. The theme of the event, “Harvest of Abundance: Favour Without Limits,” served as a reminder of God’s favor.

Idahosa stated the vision of raising a generation of Edo youths who are job creators and responsible leaders. He was accompanied by notable politicians, including Omosede Igbinedion and Razaq Bello-Osagie, and highlighted the government's commitment to empowering young people through various programs.
