Edo Deputy Governor Calls for Unity in Development Support

Denni Idahosa, the Deputy Governor of Edo State, called on residents to support Governor Mondai Okpebholo's development agenda during a thanksgiving service held in honor of Jerri Uwangu, the late mother of the Edo State Commissioner for Agriculture and Food Security. The event took place on a Sunday, and Idahosa's appeal was communicated through a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Fridai Aghedo.

He emphasized that sustainable development can only be achieved when citizens work together, urging them to embrace unity and share responsibilities in supporting the governor's initiatives. Idahosa reaffirmed the commitment of Okpebholo's administration to implement people-oriented policies and projects aimed at improving the welfare and living standards of residents across the state.

He also commended the Uwangu family for honoring their late matriarch and noted the occasion as a time to reflect on enduring values such as love, unity, and peace.
