Okpebholo Urges Edo Youths to Solve Problems, Grants Announced

On Wednesday, during Day 2 of the Edo Youth Impact Forum 2.0 in Benin City, Edo State Governor Monday Okpebholo encouraged youths to focus on becoming problem solvers instead of complaining about national issues. Represented by Secretary to the State Government Umar Ikhilor, Okpebholo stressed the importance of hard work and readiness to seize opportunities in various fields.
He affirmed his administration's commitment to the welfare and development of Edo youths, highlighting the forum's role in human capacity building and practical governance. Kizito Okpebholo, Team Lead and Special Adviser on Finance, Investments and Revenue Generation, noted that the program was initiated by the governor to empower youth uniquely.
Last year, the forum awarded N10 million to five startups, and this year, it will distribute N40 million in grants to 11 business groups across different categories.
