Edo Governor Okpebholo Reshuffles Four Commissioners

Edo State Governor Monday Okpebholo has executed a cabinet reshuffle, redeploying four commissioners to different ministries as part of efforts to enhance governance and service delivery. This adjustment marks the second minor reshuffle since Okpebholo took office.

The Secretary to the Edo State Government, Musa Ikhilor, announced the changes in a statement on Saturday. Felix Ehiguese Akhabue has been moved from the Ministry of Water Resources to the Ministry of Physical Planning and Urban Development.

Barrister Vincent Osas Uwadiae, previously in Physical Planning and Urban Development, will now oversee the Ministry of Water Resources. Andrew Momodu has transitioned from the Ministry of Communications and Digital Economy to the Ministry of Oil and Gas Resources, while Prof. Omorodion Ikponmwosa will now head the Ministry of Communications and Digital Economy after overseeing Oil and Gas Resources.

The government emphasized that the changes took effect immediately and urged the commissioners to leverage their experience in their new assignments while remaining committed to the administration’s SHINE Agenda for sustainable development in Edo State.
