Edo State Grants Scholarships to Slain General's Children

The Edo State government has taken a significant step by approving full educational scholarships for the three children of the late Brigadier General Oseni Omoh Braimah, who was killed during security operations in Borno State. The approval was announced by Governor Mondai Okpebholo on Thursday, emphasizing the state's commitment to honoring the sacrifices made by military personnel.

The scholarships will fully fund the children's education at their current academic levels, which include Farida Hussain Braimah, an 18-year-old first-year software engineering student at Nile University, Amir Hussain Braimah, a 16-year-old SS3 student at Olumawu Senior School in Abuja, and Yasmeen Hussain Braimah, a 12-year-old student.
