Tinubu and Security Agencies Celebrate Rescue in Oyo

Dr. Maruf Tunji Alausa, the Minister of Education, commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and security agencies for their successful operation in rescuing abducted pupils and teachers from Oriir community in Ogbomoso, Oyo State.

In a statement issued on Saturday, Alausa described the operation as a strong indication of the federal government's commitment to safeguarding the lives of Nigerian children. He acknowledged the contributions of the Oyo State Government and security agencies, whose coordinated efforts led to the safe release of the victims.

Alausa expressed appreciation for President Tinubu's leadership throughout the rescue operation and commended Oyo State Governor Engr. Seyi Makinde for his support.

He also praised the Nigerian Armed Forces, the Nigeria Police Force, and the Security Intelligence Agency for their professionalism and commitment. Alausa expressed sympathy for the families of the rescued individuals and reiterated the Ministry's commitment to strengthening security measures in schools nationwide.
