Efakpokire and Orewa Win Prime Atlantic Squash Titles

The 2026 Prime Atlantic Squash Closed Tournament concluded on Saturday at Ikoyi Club 1938 in Lagos, with Clement Efakpokire and Ngozi-Pope Orewa emerging as champions. Efakpokire successfully defended his men's title, marking his second consecutive victory by defeating Papa Ibru in the final.

He praised Prime Atlantic for their ongoing support of squash in Nigeria, acknowledging the challenges of corporate sponsorship in the current economy. In the women's category, Orewa triumphed over Nike Adebayo, attributing her success to rigorous preparation and training.

Goke Adediran won the veterans’ category against Mabadeji Adeniyi, crediting his experience for his performance. Sodi Pepple secured the super veterans’ title, finishing ahead of Mike Nwabuzor.
