EFCC Detains Peter Obi Supporters Over Scam Allegations

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) detained two supporters of Peter Obi, identified as Precious Oruch, popularly known as Mama Pee, and Randy Peter, on Wednesday. The detention occurred after they honored an invitation from the EFCC in Abuja.

Esther Umoh, who posted about the incident, indicated that the two supporters were not released several hours later. She also mentioned that they were invited to discuss allegations related to a presidential foreign intervention scam involving a self-acclaimed council director, Adeniyi Adeyemi, and prominent political figures, including Bola Tinubu's Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila.

Despite the developments, Peter Obi has not publicly commented on the situation.
